According to statistics, China's new grid-connected photovoltaic power generation capacity in 2021 is about 53 million kilowatts, ranking first in the world for nine consecutive years. By the end of 2021, the installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation connected to the grid reached 306 million kilowatts, breaking the 300 million kilowatts mark, ranking first in the world for seven consecutive years. In the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the construction of photovoltaic power generation has achieved new breakthroughs and presented new characteristics.
First, distributed photovoltaic reached 107.5 million kilowatts, exceeding 100 million kilowatts, accounting for about one-third of the total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation connected to the grid.
Second, among the new photovoltaic power generation connected to the grid, distributed photovoltaic added about 29 million kilowatts, accounting for about 55% of all new photovoltaic power generation installed capacity, breaking through 50% for the first time in history, and the development trend of centralized and distributed photovoltaic power generation is obvious.
Third, the new distributed photovoltaic, household photovoltaic after 2020 for the first time more than 10 million kilowatts, in 2021 more than 20 million kilowatts, reaching about 21.5 million kilowatts. Household photovoltaic has become an important force for China to achieve the target of carbon peak and carbon neutrality on schedule and implement the rural revitalization strategy.
