OBC power supply testing framework
With the popularity of electric vehicles, the market demand for On Board Chargers (OBCs) is steadily increasing. In order to shorten the charging time of electric vehicles, the power of the charging device has gradually expanded from the original single-phase 3.3kW and 6.6kW to three-phase 11kW, 22kW and other specifications. Structurally, there have also been products that combine small three electric OBC and DCDC, as well as OBC/DCDC/PDU three in one. In both R&D and production lines, high-performance and efficient testing products are needed to help enterprises improve efficiency.
The BABP series/BAST series power grid simulator of Bona Electric can simulate the power supply of the power grid to the charger. The BD65 series bidirectional DC test power supply can simulate the battery charging and discharging curve, and is equipped with oscilloscopes and power analyzers to conduct complete testing of OBC.
Power grid simulation
The BABP/BAST series power grid simulator can complete various OBC regulatory tests, such as input voltage range testing, input frequency range testing, startup impulse current testing, power, efficiency, power factor, harmonic current testing, and harsh power supply environment simulation testing.
The rated output range of BABP/BAST series power grid simulator is 0-300V, 40-240Hz. The output can superimpose 2-40th harmonic, and can also achieve voltage frequency fluctuation, flicker, three-phase imbalance and other tests.

Simulation of battery charging curve
The BD65 series bidirectional DC test power supply can simulate the battery charging characteristic curve to test the OBC charging characteristics. Users can generate curves by setting battery parameters, as shown in the following figure:
